How it works

How do we pay for our care services?
Invoices are submitted weekly for non-medical homemaker and companion services provided. All payments are processed through Universal Care NY. Companions are not authorized to receive payments directly from clients or families.
What happens if our regular companion is not available?
Our scheduling program is designed to ensure consistent non-medical companion coverage. If your regular companion is unavailable, we arrange a qualified replacement. Your loved one will always have a companion present.
How will my companion get to work?
At Universal Care NY, we coordinate closely with our team to ensure reliable and timely arrival for every shift.
How soon can we start service?
Our non-medical companion services can begin within hours of your request. Once services are scheduled, we create a Service Plan to match your loved one with the right companion for their needs.
